The Fine Line
As I stand there in your ominous shadow
I say to myself, “ I shall conquer thee”.
As I move towards you I am thinking of my rights and my wrongs,
I am praying for god to forgive my sins and have mercy on my soul
For what I am about to embark upon will define life It will define death.
I know how many you have taken
I know that taking you unto myself is defining that fine line
Between bravery and stupidity.
All I can do is pray and go forth with confidence
I must take you the best way I know possible,
To not do so will show your true nature
malicious and merciless…
I go forth with this all in mind… I move unto you
I will conquer you, for failure equals death in this situation.
As I walk into the darkness of the night without looking back
I chuckle to myself and say
“ heh, heh, heh… thou hath been vanquished”
