The Surcease of All Loving Light
Down a darkling path she’ll walk,
Seeking out a new heart to stalk.
She holds within her such blight
That she is now the reaper of light
Thought the threads of fate
Have intertwined with hate,
She is now the surcease of all loving light.
To the shadows she’ll succumb fearing her worst fret…that she’ll find her loved one.
So in hate she’ll take flight
Giving great love her best fight,
In lonesome she’ll wander
And of love she’ll ponder,
Though she is still the surcease of all loving light.
Down her path I’ve now stolen,
In hope of turning her blackened heart golden.
In her hate filled eyes, I lose my sight
As she looks into mine with malicious might,
Her horrid claws grasp
As I let go a fearful gasp
And she proves herself the surcease of all loving light.
Now that she’s stolen my spirit
Hers grows fearfully near it.
Those eyes now without loving fright
They’ve taken the true me to their sight,
Her darkened threads now fade
‘Til all that’s left is a lovely shade,
As she’s now the angel whom procures my loving light.
